Down To Earth Toys has the utmost respect for your privacy. As with every customer, your account information is kept in complete confidence and never leaves our hands. Our strict policy insures that we will not sell, distribute, or otherwise publish your personal information to any third party.

The following is a list of why we request certain information from you:

• We use the information obtained when placing an order to complete that order.
• We use the information you provide about someone else only to complete the order on behalf of that person and to confirm delivery.
• We use the information to contact you regarding any important updates to our website that concern you (i.e. Gift Registry, your Account, Loyalty Points).

We require email addresses to answer the email we receive and correspond with our customers regarding order information and important issues. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

We do not send out junk mail to our customers.  We do have a newsletter mailing list, but this is voluntary.  If you sign up and would like to be removed, please click the link in the newsletter message to do so.

Credit card transactions are processed using PayPal Payment Services and are encrypted and submitted to our highly secure SSL server using a digital certificate.

In certain unique situations whereby information about a customer is inaccurate or misrepresented, we reserve the right to contact the card issuing bank, and have those banks contact the customer on our behalf. We do this to protect your credit card information and to deter credit card fraud.
